Greg, can a Safety Document be associated with a Switching Order? During your presentation, the illustrated Safety Document had a different association. |
Larry Clark |
Yes. For each step of a Switching Schedule, a Safety Document can be referenced along with the Conducting Equipment relevant to that step. |

Same as above |
Greg, will the AMI/HAN initiative produce a generic solution? At the present time, the initiative seems to be based on one AMI and protocol solution, i.e. ZigBee. There are other AMI options and protocol selections. |
Larry Clark |
Yes. While this work was initiated and is being fostered by the ZigBee & HomePlug Alliance, the alliance wants it to be available for use as generic standard for all Home Area Network (HAN) applications. Therefore the application layer work is being based on 61968 CIM, is being done in coordination with the UCAIug OpenHAN Task Force, and will be submitted to the IEC for consideration as an international standard. |

You referenced a specification and Margaret said it is available to CIMug members. Evidently it is located on the UCA OpenSmartGrid site. Can you provide a specific URL for that? |
