Traveling to the Genval Area
The nearest airport is the Brussels airport (also referred to as the Zaventem airport, code BRU). You can reach the Genval area by train or taxi.
Note there are three main train stations in Brussels: Brussels Nord, Brussels Central, and Brussels Midi. If you are traveling to the area by fast trains, you will need the timetable booklet for Brussels Midi to Genval B.
The Chateau du Lac hotel can provide shuttle service from the airport, but you must fill in the following section on the hotel reservation form. (You may wish to travel with others to save money.)

Click for Map Note: walking is not recommended if you have luggage, due to hills along this path. If you have no luggage, this is a pleasant walk. Rather than take the Google-calculated path, you might rather follow Rue de Rosieres to Avenue du Lac to the lake and take the walking path. It's a pleasant stroll. |
