Notes IOP call 18 June 2012
1) A lot of issues closed.
2) Changes that should be done on v30 of the profile
- Boundary EQ: delete association ConnectivityNode - Line
- Boundary EQ: add association ConnectivityNode-ConnectivityNodeContainer (in the same way it is for EQ profile)
- add a set of names to IdentifiedObject as ENTSO-E extension
- Add a note to Name, NameType that this approach will be used for the IOP. ENTSO-E extension on the name will be valid once the profile is fixed
- add NameTypeAuthority to complete the model on names
3) Issues that wait WG13
- rdfID issue: WG13 is exchanging some views on this issue. If resolution is reached before the IOP the profile document will be updated, but most probably the IOP will not use the new concept as it may require significant amount of effort to implement
- name issue - Now as we agreed to add ENTSO-E extenstion on names we will need to check if this is OK for WG13
- association HydroGeneratingUnit-HydroPowerPlant - decided - wait for CIM model manager to add - expected end of this week
- 4 classed to reflect the decision of WG13 related to generation types - solar, marine, etc - decided - wait for CIM model manager to add in the UML - expected end of this week
- additional discussion is needed on the Wind. How to conenct wind dynamics model with the static model
WG13 expects to discuss this on Wed.
4) CIM for Dynamics
A new version of the UML is expected this week. The only changes since v30 of the profile are related to the wind modelling
5) test models
CESI provided test model - ENTSO-E 16 nodes in CIM16. Chavdar will send the link to the model.
Other models are also expected:
- SCADA/EMS kind of model
- models to test short circuit data IEC standard
- any other vendor model that could be expirted in CIM16
6) Test procedures:
The last version of the test procedures is from end of May. Two main changes:
- no scoring for profile 2; stricter scoring for profile 1
- vendors test profile 2 test winessed be TSO expects; TSOs test profile 1 using their tools and ENTSO-E network modelling database (NMD) - TSOs are supported by vendors in case of problems with profile 1 compliance
Another version of the test procedures will be sent before the next call. The update will be on test procedures for the NMD and scores for the profile 1.
7) Next version of the profile
version is expected by the end of this week - before the next call
8) Validation tools
Jun will issue a patch to cover EQ, TP, SV by the end of this. Another patch will follow when the next version of the profile is issued.
