Notes IOP Call - 14 May 2012

Agenda:

1) Review of IOP poll

Only 8 vendors completed doodle link. Most of the vendors will test import/export only. We need at least a few vendors to test load flow and dynamics simulations in order to test the profile in full.

For the time being only CESI volunteers to work on ENTSO-E 16 nodes model and to convert and adapt it to ENTSO-E CIM profile in CIM16.

Preparation of test cases is always a challenge that we need to face.

2) Issues discussion

o   the class will be marked as ShortCirciut

o   all attributes will be required except offsetCurrent and positionCurrent

·         GroundingImpedance

o   the class will be marked as ShortCirciut

o   x is required

·         EarthFaultCompensator

o   class will be marked as ShortCirciut

·         association between DCPole and DCPoleAC will be added in the profile as in WG13

·         association DCTerminal-DCnode should be required

·         the .name in the DCTerminal should be optional

·         Association InitialReactiveCapabilityCurve between DCPoleVSC and VSCCapabilityCurve is specified as bi-directional in the profile. The following should be kept in the profile:

3) Action items

·         CIMcontextor issue - in the Dynamics package (HTML version) concrete and abstract classes are mixed. This should be corrected to be like other profiles

·         Check if gains in the standard models should be in PU

·         Chavdar to produce the next version of the profile before 21 May
